About the International School of AstroYoga

In a world overflowing with spiritual language yet often disconnected from true depth, the International School of AstroYoga offers something different: a return to the real. 

Founded by Emily Ridout, a seasoned astrologer, yoga educator, and published author featured in Reader’s Digest, Yoga Journal, Well+Good, and more, the school exists to reunite body and cosmos—wisdom and practice. It is not a studio. It is a place of study, transformation, and real embodiment.

Begin with chart-based insight: the shadows and light within your chart, your deep-rooted tendencies, and how you're responding to your life experience and cultural influence thus far. Many people stay stuck in the beginning stages of astrology and yoga. There are two reasons for this: 1) a lack of resources and true education on these topics, and 2) once the knowledge is there, many struggle to apply it with consistency and depth. This second step is the most difficult because it requires study and practice (dedication). For serious students ready to get into the real work, this step is about going deeper. Astrology lives in your breath, nervous system, and movement. Through yoga and subtle body work, we bring astrological insight into lived experience. This is where you shift from knowing the chart to living it.
